When cracking open the case to this CD I damn near had a heart attack,
there was a picture of the guy who wrote the music and it is by far one
of the scariest |

Tune quality is largely on the annoying side. It's primarily in the vein of 80s metal with Randy Rhoads sounding guitar riffs like something you would hear in just about any of the recent incarnations of Street Fighter. There are a few ambient tracks that are actually quite good, very soothing, but they just aren't enough to salvage the CD. This is one of those soundtracks with a ton of tracks on it, twenty in this case, but most of them are not much |

longer than a couple of minutes. Because of this, by the time you start to get into a tune it's already finished. You can just breeze through the irritating guitar driven tunes thanks to the invention of the "skip track" button, but when you hit one of the few marginally ambient tunes that are well done it comes and goes, poof, and that's it.
The only people that will really get something out of this soundtrack are those who are very much fans of Bubblegum Crisis. Everyone else would do well to stay far away from this one. If the puffy shirt guy doesn't get you, the pseudo 80s guitar licks will.
