Galaxy Angel Volume 3 (DVD)

Start with Milfeulle in search of Vanilla’s mysterious, unidentified, lost treasure. Add Ranpha planning Forte’s “funeral” as an excuse for forgetting a date. Mix well with Mint and Milfeulle in pursuit of a runaway tank. Fold in Forte, Vanilla, and Mint on a space station and sprinkle with monkeys. Bake with Milfeulle and Normad on a date that’s interrupted by a culinary droid being pursued by assassins. And finish it off with a garnish of Forte and Mint trapped on a deserted island with a crazy lunatic. When you’re done, serve with a mouthful of laughs.

I can remove the belt from my arm now… more Galaxy Angel (need fix… Simpsons Box Set not enough). This disc starts to allow the show to get more surreal and wacky with its humor, which is really the show’s strength.

Episode 15: Lost Item Pot Au Feu

Vanilla is in the midst of a fast and hasn’t eaten in 2 weeks. The entire Angel Troupe is worried about her condition, but she refuses to eat until the item that she lost can be found. What is the item? No one except Vanilla knows… and Milfeulle has decided to find it by herself. You won’t believe the amazing things that Milfeulle brings back…

Episode 16: Grilled Girl In A Box

Boy crazy Ranpha accidentally sleeps in and misses a date with her latest beau. Instead of apologizing, she lies and claims that she was tied up dealing with the death of Forte (who has been away on an extended mission). Once Forte agrees to the stupid plan in exchange for a rare pistol, the situation snowballs like only they can for the Angel Brigade.

Episode 17: Canned Angel With Gun Turret

A tank is stolen from a research facility and the Angel Brigade is called to action… despite the fact that it is their day off. Mint and Milfeulle get to the tank, except it

doesn’t have a pilot (and now everyone thinks that they stole the tank). Watch for the involvement of two of the weirdest hats: Normad’s helicopter hat (including electrocution punishment device controlled by Ranpha of course) and Vanilla traffic light hat. Also watch for a cameo by characters from Digi-Charat.

Episode 18: Monkey Salvage Combo

Forte, Vanilla, and Mint are forced to stop at a nearby station due to engine troubles on Forte’s Angel Frame. Once they arrive at the station, they are surprised to find that the station is empty… except for monkeys. Apparently the research team on the station was working on a new virus, which got loose and turned the complement of people in simians. How will the Angel Brigade handle this one?

Episode 19: Angel Kiss Gateau de Milfeulle

Milfeulle wins tickets for a free dinner, but is sidetracked by a delicious cake stand. The chef is none other than the robotic master chef formerly employed by the President. Milfeulle tries to convince him to teach her how to cook his masterpiece and although he agrees, he is sidetracked and has to avoid a series of assassins who wish to prevent his knowledge from escaping. What information you ask? Something so disturbing the President will kill anyone to prevent it from being compromised.

Episode 20: Special Survival Combo

Mint and Forte are stranded on a desert island once their military transport crashes… except the island isn’t uninhabited. It’s inhabited by a criminal one with a fetish for violence. How will the pair get through this?

This disc of Galaxy Angel was absolutely hilarious, and the even moderately serious Episode 19 even had a twist that kept me in stitches. A gut-ripping disc.
