Vash the Stampede and Nicholas Wolfwood

(by Kaiyodo)

When trying to track down Japanese action figures it can be a real ordeal depending on where you live, but once you get that figure in your hands you know you’re holding something special. This is definitely the case with the Vash and Wolfwood figures from Kaiyodo. Their craftsmanship is very respectable, they have plenty of points of articulation, and the sheer number of accessories that come packed with them are amazing.

There is quite a bit of detail in both of these action figures, but not nearly as much as the McFarlane Toys anime figures. Still they both look very good. While Vash is nice, it’s Wolfwood that looks really good. The anime look and feel is maintained in the figure, but it’s his accessories that are amazing, from the cross, to the chains, to the firearms, it’s incredible. However these extras also can be a burden since they can easily be lost. So keep

a couple of ziplock sandwich bags handy when opening the packages for these figures and get the accessories put away quickly or they may be lost forever.

Other than these easily lost accessories there isn’t anything major to complain about with these figures. They have a good amount of detail, the paint jobs are well done, and they’re easy to pose. If you already have the Vash figure from McFarlane Toys, these figures may be right up your ally.
