Known as Jeff to his family and Who? to his friends, Mr. Nash has been playing games for many, many years. Endearing him to local videogame storeowners by phoning every hour on the hour to see if this or that game had finally arrived during the early 90s Jeff quickly became a much beloved figure in the local electronic gaming retail community. Having spent his high school years during the early to mid 90s he was also fortunate enough to be on the receiving end of the full brunt of the Street Fighter II phenomenon. Every lunch hour Jeff could be found plugging away at the game which was fast becoming his Dark Master, but somehow, through tremendous force of will and determination he still managed to pry himself away so as to return to class on time. Sadly many of his friends didn’t escape the soft, sweet, soothing siren song of the arcade leaving them with detentions a plenty.

When not glued to the sofa or in front of a computer Jeff would spend his time writing many odd stories that were intended to both tantalize and delight. However, due to the tendency readers had to roll up Jeff’s treasured manuscripts and proceed to flog him repeatedly over the head with them while screaming "You call that literature?!?", Jeff thought it prudent to keep his writings, or "teachings" as he likes to call them, to himself in an effort to reduce the amount of head trauma he received from day to day.

After years of writing in obscurity while playing a myriad of games Jeff finally came to the conclusion that he should combine his passions for these two pastimes. Now, with his colleague Aaron Simmer, Mr. Nash has started his quest to cover gaming news from the mainstream, the fringe, and that dank, dark realm under the couch with The Armchair Empire.
