Captain Blood
Sid Meier's Pirates is certainly the most high-profile pirate game on the horizon, but Captain Blood from small Russian developer Akella, developers of the fun (but somewhat flawed) Pirates of the Caribbean, also looks promising. Based on Rafael Sabatini's Captain Blood |

novels, Captain Blood sounds like a lot of swashbuckling fun.
Captain
Blood allows players to control the titular anti-hero as he sails the
16th century waters in search of plunder and adventure.
Game play is divided into two parts:
piloting a ship at sea, which includes ship-to-ship combat, and
controlling Captain Blood himself as he matches swords with multiple
enemies. Only
a few screenshots have been released so far, but keep tuned in here for

Pirate Adventure: Live a life of the most noble and brave pirate from
