Ape Escape II

It seems like Ape Escape II has been available in the rest of the world for the better part of forever with even Europe, land of the rip-roaringly late release dates, getting the title before North America.  Now finally…FINALLY…the sequel to Sony’s popular monkey-related platformer is making its way to US shores.

This time out the simians of Monkey Park have managed to become extremely intelligent, largely through the negligence of the game’s hero, Jimmy.  Now it’s up to Jimmy to run around the park with his trust net and club, rounding up the apes and clean up the mess he’s made.  Lucky for him he has a little extra help this time through an additional character being added for the sequel, Pipotchi.

Expect this title that has been conspicuously absent from many North American gamers’ libraries to hit shelves this summer.
