Girls
The
proliferation of heroines in video games, and most other forms of
entertainment for that matter, has really been picking up speed over the
last few years. Lara Croft,
Charlie’s Angels, PN03, Samus, and plenty of others waiting in the
wings, ranging from solid characters to trite wastes of space that
should never have seen fruition. Now
Konami has a new title in the works for the PS2 with a couple of
tight-clothed, gun toting femme fatales set in a stylish futuristic
world. Given the choice of playing as one of two heroines, Ice or Aska, players will do some serious globe trotting, hitting places like South America, the Far East, and North America, as they’re |

plunged into what should be
some fast-paced environments where gunplay abounds, and pummeling
enemies with blinding fists (and feet!) of fury certainly isn’t out of
the questions. What may
help Cy Girls stand out from the crowd and keep it from being “just
another action game” is that Ice and Aska will have the ability to not
only travel in the real world, but also to wander cyberspace where they
can pick up new skills to better arm themselves as they hunt down Cyber
Terrorists.

over the years. But hopefully we’ll be treated to something fresh and fun when the title hits store shelves at the end of the year.
