Lethal Skies 2
I was probably surprised like many people when Lethal Skies 2 (LS2) was announced. The first game wasn’t as good as its competitors considering that there haven’t been many realistic Flight Combat games for the Playstation 2. (A few notables include Ace Combat 4, Aero Elite: Combat Academy and Lethal Skies.) My biggest complaint with the original Lethal Skies was the lack of multiplayer options. Lethal Skies 2 hopes to answer prayers of those who enjoyed the first game or hoped for something better by adding a plethora of new features. |

The biggest improvement from my perspective is the addition of a two player split screen mode. Not only that, but LS2 also has the option to play multiplayer through an I-link cable. Unfortunately there hasn’t been any information on what types of multiplayer games will be available. It would be nice to see a platform Flight Combat game include a cooperative mode. The storyline is somewhat similar to the previous Lethal Skies title. Global Warming, along with brutal military conflict have had a devastating effect on the world as vast numbers of resources have been wiped out. |

Lethal
Skies 2 will also include newly updated graphics from the original game
along with more detailed aircrafts and environments. The game also
includes something that hasn’t been seen in many video games today.
You’ll be able to play campaigns from the view of the enemies as well.
The game’s release date is slowly approaching and I honestly can’t
wait to check this title out as it’ll finally give me a good reason to
put down Ace Combat 4 and check out this title.
