It was a beautiful game, with amazing ninja-worthy controls, plenty of action and a hellacious challenge level. Also, through Xbox Live, Ninja Gaiden gamers could buy and download additional game material in the form of the "hurricane" packs, including new enemies and bigger and tougher bosses. Now, that material, more and even tougher enemies and gameplay, more missions, and new cinematic movies are all combined into Ninja Gaiden Black, in what's not really a "new" game, but an upgrade of an existing top-quality offering (call it Ninja Gaiden 1.5).
