PN03

Capcom is very well known for their 2d based fighting games such as the Street Fighter series and have also been successful with some 3d based games such as the Resident Evil series and the first Devil May Cry game. Using a futuristic action game known as P.N. O3 Capcom will try to rise again. With some of Capcom’s recent releases of action games such as Chaos Legion and Devil May Cry 2 receiving mediocre ratings, Capcom better hope their new futuristic approach will appeal to the public and give gamers what they want.

In P.N. 03 You will take control of Vanessa Z. Schneider a freelance mercenary and robot killer with a grudge. The plot revolves around CAMS (Computer Arms Management System). It seems that the colonization of distant planets and military defenses are dependent on CAMS. Something goes wrong, though, when some CAMS malfunction and wipe out an

entire colony. Vanessa has a dark past that seems to revolve around the incident of CAMS. Her family was killed and she wants revenge. Vanessa is highly trained with tons of acrobatic moves similar to Dante from Devil May Cry. She must use her agility to dodge heavy enemy firepower and in the same time reduce enemies to nothing but pieces of scrap.  Unlike Devil May Cry’s half demon hunter Dante wielding two handguns, Vanessa shoots energy blasts from her hands. With fast action gameplay and a futuristic setting let’s hope that P.N. 03 can live up to the Capcom name and not be hiding under the shadows of Devil May Cry.
