summer.

Taking place two years after the events of the first game, the Darkness II once again has you taking on the role of Jackie who is still mourning the loss of the love of his life Ė Jenny. Full of powers that are affected by light this time around you will be able to use your darkness abilities in public places.

abandoned carnival. Enemies came out of various places and there were some amazing moves that you could use to finish them. I think my favourite was the spinal tap execution. The art style has taken a decidedly different direction with an effective cell shading technique that gives the overall feel more comic-book style reminiscent of Borderlands and yet unique enough that it stands on its own. Itís a graphic noire art style that I think will appeal to most gamers.

Obviously itís too early to tell overall how well the game will be before its October 4, 2011 release but so far so good and at the very least it has inspired me to go back and look at the original.
