Futurama

Many fans of the TV series will consider the rise and fall of the show to be a tragic one.  Quite arguably one of the finest spoofs of the sci-fi genre to come along, it kept viewers coming back for more as they followed the misadventures of Fry, Bender, Leela, and the rest of the gang at the Planet Express getting into one mishap after the next…assuming you could find the show on TV, since many locations in the US routinely had Futurama pre-empted for one sporting event or another.

Now Sierra is putting the finishing touches on a game based on the best damn sci-fi spoof that not nearly enough people heard enough about, aptly titled…well…Futurama.  Now Fry and the gang have to travel back in time to stop Mom from taking over the world in this 3rd person shooter which we suspect will also contain liberal splashes of hilarity when it hits the market this summer.
