King Arthur |
|
We’re well into the season of summer movie blockbusters and possibly one of the most anticipated movies is Jerry Bruckheimer’s King Arthur. King
Arthur, the game, allows you to assume the role of the movies heroes
(five playable characters). Each individual character possesses unique characteristics, abilities and
weapons. One of the more interesting features of the game seems to be
the two player cooperative mode. Hopefully the cooperative mode proves
to be as enjoyable as it was in Lord of the Rings. The game does bear other resemblances to EA’s Lord of the Rings games. Both games incorporate video from the movies and use transitions from the video to the in-game visuals. But what Lord of the Rings didn’t have was the lovely Keira Knightly! King Arthur also boasts combat while on horseback.
Features: Detailed facial scans from the outstanding cast members, including Clive Owen and Keira Knightly. Photo-realistic
3-D environments beautifully recreated from the film. Dynamic
fighting system featuring unprecedented combat via horseback component. Motion-captured
fighting sequences and moves. Deep
story driven adventure that mirrors the plot of the film. Seamless
cut scene transition from film to game. Upgradeable
characters with unlockable special moves and combos. Take
control of the motion picture’s heroes: Arthur, Lancelot, Guinevere,
Tristren or Bors each with unique skills. Single-player
and Two-Player Co-operative.
King Arthur is set for release this holiday season. - Siddharth Masand (June 28, 2004)
