NBA Street 2

I am glad to say that I am a proud owner of the original NBA Street. It was fast, fun, fluid and the arcade gameplay made for great two-player skirmishes. This year the good folks at EA have decided to bring the back the series with its second installment. Unlike the last NBA Street game, this version will be available on all the platforms. From the available information it seems that the team at EA has really out did themselves from the previous installment and a year off hopefully will pay off in the end.

Key Features:

Play as your favorite NBA legend, past or present with their signature moves: Choose from a massive selection of 145 NBA players, 25 NBA Legends and 6 Street Legends.

Up to four players at a time in the new multiplayer mode: The stakes are higher and the fun gets more intense when you play 4-player multiplayer.

Be the Oop!: For the first time in a basketball game, you can be the Oop! There's nothing like jumping to the rim and catching a pass from your team mate for the big alley-oop.

Level 2 Gamebreaker: School your opponent big time with the show-stopping Gamebreakers. Boost your Gamebreaker meter by pulling off sweet moves. The more you pour on the highlights the bigger the boost. Gamebreakers are twice as punishing with Level 2 Gamebreakers.

Play America's best street courts: Numerous urban worlds that re-create the feel and grit of the true street game, including Soul in the Hole, Rucker Park and The Cage.

Enhanced Create-a-Baller mode: There's more to Create-a-Baller than just cool outfits. Earn crazy signature moves for your personal Created Baller. Now you can take your skills and style to the floor.

My Rules: Spot your opponent a few points before the tip-off, or play a trick point challenge. Play the game the way YOU want to play it.

Those disappointed, of the lack of extended multiplayer (i.e. four-player simultaneous play) from the original NBA Street will have their prayers answered as NBA Street 2 supports up to four players on all the platforms, but the lowdown is that there is no online play to speak of.

Look for NBA Street 2 to hit shelves in Spring of this year.
