Based

Oh
yay! Another movie licensed game! A lot of people by now should be aware
of how awful movie licensed games really are (with a few exceptions like
EA’s The Lord of the Rings games). Usually a company would use the
hype of a movie and take it for granted and use that as their biggest
selling point so they can make a half assed game knowing people will
buy
it anyways because of the movie’s popularity. Hopefully THQ and Heavy
Iron Studios won’t take that shortcut and make a pretty decent game
based off the colorful and humorous looking film.

SYNOPSIS:
From
the Academy Award-winning creators of Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., and
Finding Nemo comes a new movie written by Pixar Animation Studios' Brad
Bird (Iron Giant, The Simpsons). The Incredibles tells the story of a
family of undercover superheroes that are trying to live a quiet,
suburban life, but are forced back into action in order to save the
world.

The
demo shown at E3 sported lots of smashing action and showed off some
really smooth animation. It could be a cross between The Hulk and
Ratchet & Clank -- topped with a bit of Pixar humor (and a role for
Frozone) and we may have a winner. Watch for the Incredibles this
October.
