Warhound
Do
you have a hankering for hunting hapless query that just happen to be
people? Do you want a first
person shooter where the main goal is to garner notoriety, and the all
mighty dollar? If so,
Techland may have the FPS for you, as they are currently working on a
game called Warhound, where players take on jobs to hunt and kill
specified targets by their client.
Over the course of the game, players will have to carefully plan every step of each mission. One will need to take into account their budget, buy weapons and devices necessary for the job, and figure out how they’ll get in and get out to do their job. Missions do appear to lean towards the morally upstanding, as players will find themselves freeing VIPs, helping stricken governments, and killing dictators and drug kingpins, among other tasks. These missions will take place across the globe in locales such as the Balkans, South America, South East Asia, Africa, and Korea. |

As all of this is going on, players will be able to build up their character through training. This will help to specialize one’s skills, although what fields these skills are in are unknown. Interestingly, as players specialize, the missions offered to them will change according to their skills. This should help to add some replay value to the game. |

What will
also
help with this is that missions are replayable, and will have a random
factor to them that is meant to ensure that each time someone plays a
certain mission things are a little bit different.
Warhound
will be running on the fourth edition of the ChromeEngine, and is
gunning for a very realistic look to it.
The grass and trees in particular are looking quite realistic at
this time. These
environments could prove interesting in the game’s multiplayer mode,
which is supposed to support up to 32 players at once.
Those
who enjoy meticulous planning, as well as being in a position where your
first priority is to look out for number one may want to keep an eye on
this game, as it continues development.
