XIII

xiii-1.jpg (21764 bytes)          xiii-2.jpg (22106 bytes)

Don’t you hate it when you get shot at and left for dead, then when you come to you find out that the leader of your country has been assassinated and the number “XIII” has been branded into your chest all while having no idea who you are thanks to a nasty case of amnesia.  If so, you’ll probably hate this game, and if not, a) you’re weird and a little creepy, and b) you’ll probably want to keep an eye on this game in the works over at Ubi Soft.

The game pits players in the above scenario with their character coming to in New England and discovering a key to a bank box located in New York.  Moments later you are attacked by hitmen and dispose of them right quick, which comes as a surprise as you never knew how to do this before…or so the fact sheet says.  Of course this brings up a potential plot hole big enough to drive a Manhattan subway through: If you just woke up with amnesia and don’t remember anything about yourself how on Earth can you be surprised that you have exceptional fighting skills?  You could have been a ninja for all you know.

That aside, it’s time for you to go to New York, see what’s in that bank box, and figure out what you have to do with the President’s assassination, all while discovering just who you really are.  Nothing like a bullet riddled voyage of self-discovery!
