Cammy (Street Fighter) from

by SOTA Toys

cammy

Originally a brainwashed assassin of M. Bison, Cammy eventually broke free of his control but was scarred by him for her betrayal. Now recruited by the British military, Cammy seeks the memories that were stolen from her by M. Bison and to exact her own justice upon him.

Cammy stands approximately 6” tall with over 20 points of articulation. Amazingly,

balance is no issue with this figure and Cammy can be left in many different poses.

The facial sculpt is near perfect and very close to what we see in Udon’s comics and the Street Fighter II videogame.

SOTA knows how to paint their products. There is only the slightest amount of bleeding with their paints and Cammy is an

excellent demonstration of this. She is not the most detailed character, but SOTA really makes her stand out because of their fabulous skills.

Cammy comes packed with three extra hands for those poses that you can’t get with closed fists. She also comes with another head that looks as if she is blinking one eye at someone. Lastly, Cammy comes with this eyepiece device for her head that can be placed in a hole in her left ear. These eyepieces aren’t from the videogame, but were introduced in Udon’s Street Fighter comics. Think of them as those eyepieces that Frieza’s men had on in Dragonball Z. The one unfortunate thing is that the hole in Cammy’s left ear looks awkward and you wouldn’t want to pose her from the left without the eyepiece on.

Due to her size, she isn’t as durable as the male figures, even if she does fit right in with the other Street Fighter figures. Switching her heads can be a problem since the size of the peg located in the neck is extremely small and looks like it could snap. This also applies to her hands. I haven’t had any problems so far, and SOTA’s figures are built strong so it shouldn’t worry you, but be cautious, just in case. If you have young children around, you might not want them to get their hands on Cammy because her two braided pony tails will be gone in no time.

Many Street Fighter fans dig Cammy and if this includes you, head over to www.Cornerstorecomics.com to order yours before it’s too late! I’m not bluffing either, white Ryu and Sagat from series 1 are near impossible to find unless you’re willing to pay a fair bit on eBay.
