As
another installment in the statuesque 17th series of Spawn,
Clown is certainly the charming fellow in his own extremely gruesome
way. Sporting a Hannibal Lectern look on his little
delivery
cart with the mask and restraints, Clown looks like quite the madman.
Giving it that little extra kick is the little demon protruding from his
belly (which can be removed by the way). It’s a disturbing looking
figure, no doubt about it, but there’s no denying that the McFarlane
Toys detail is there. Between the leather straps, the little demon, and
the look on Clown’s face, there is a whole lot to look at.
However,
the lack of any points of articulation really limits what you can do
with this figure. Clown will really end up the guy whose picked on by
the other figures or left purely for decorative purposes. He acts as a
secondary character when the other figures with a dozen points of
articulation are around. That’s fine though because he’s still nice
to look at.
When
it comes right down to it this version of Clown is the statueiest statue
that ever statued, but that’s okay, it looks good on the self in its
own macabre sort of way.
