The
previous Warthog release featured one Master Chief and two Marine
grunts.Obviously, Joyride
had some complaints about the Marine grunts because they’ve packed
three Master Chiefs with this Warthog!Which is great for everyone that likes Master Chief or anyone
that has an unopened original with the grunts because the collectibility
just doubled.
The
Warthog is approximately 6” long and is ranks high for playability.
The wheels can’t turn but it’s remarkably quite easy to slide the
vehicle to the direction you want it to face. It has a gun turret at the
top rear for one of the Master Chiefs. The gun is easy to rotate but it
takes
some experimentation to place a Master Chief figurine on it. Even
though it’s good for play, the Warthog makes a pretty nice display
piece as well. Joyride used a nice dull shade of green but my only
complaint is that it would’ve been nice to see the Warthog look at
least a little bit battle worn.
The
(three) Master Chiefs themselves have an excellent amount of
articulation located in the arms, legs, shoulders, knees and head. You can move the arms up or down and even to the sides for a
nice variety of combat poses. They are approximately 3” tall and the
playability here is

truly remarkable, just like the Warthog. The color
coating on the Master Chief figures has a nice tone of red. The one
problem I have found about these figures is that it’s a bit tricky to
get the guns to attach into their hands, but once you get it in, it’s
not such a big deal because Master Chief has a firm grip so he won’t
let go of it easily.
Is
the Warthog worth your money? If you want a good toy to play with or,
just want a nice display piece then don’t wait to buy it. The Warthog
is more than your money. Even if the vehicle and figurines came
separately, it would be worth the buy.
