Master Chief, White (Halo)
by Joyride

Whether you love him or hate him, if you haven’t
heard of Master Chief by now I hate to be see the size of the rock you’ve been
hiding under. Based on the acclaimed first-person shooter (Halo) comes the

Studios.
Master Chief was born for battle and bred for war. He’s humanity’s last hope for
survival in the face of the deadly Covenant onslaught. He’s a product of the
secret SPARTAN-II project, the ultimate soldier, trained from an early age in
weapons, tactics and command. He has superhuman strength, stamina and

AI capabilities. Oh and did I forget to mention
that he is a master of all weapons, and an adept pilot of all vehicles? Sounds
pretty impressive does it not? Well the figure is equally impressive.
The whole figure is very detailed and the durability is pretty good too. He
stands at 7 ½ inches and has about 18 points of articulation. According to some
of my sources, I’ve heard that Joyride has fixed the little problem with the
loose articulation that people found in the previous line of figures. It’s still
not perfect mind you; the pelvic area bends on its own when I stand him up, but
if you don’t let that bother you, then it’s safe to say that the articulation is
pretty well done.
The first thing that most of you will probably notice about Master Chief is his
visor. It’s shiny and you can see reflections. (Sometimes it will even distract
me from what I am supposed to be doing! That either proves how sad I truly am or
proves how cool the visor really is! I’ll leave you to decide.)
Master Chief’s white paint over is a tad bit darker than expected. Rather than
being milky white, the colour has a dull finish and you can even see some dirt
stains and damage which helps it look more realistic and detailed.
The Master also comes with two accessories: the assault rifle and a
flamethrower. Even though the main feature of the White Master Chief is the
flamethrower, it has a hard time fitting in one of the Master’s hands. He still
looks better with the standard assault rifle.
White Master Chief is worth every penny. If you’ve already started a Halo
collection, don’t hesitate to add the white Master Chief.
