Amagon
There could be a story line for Amagon but I’ve no idea what it is. Okay I do know: You’re a marine sent to investigate "a monster infested island, from which no man has ever returned alive." Amagon is actually one of those games I’d rather forget. It’s one of those games that is enough to inspire my design of a time machine for the chance to stop my younger self from playing it.Basically you’re stranded on an island with a gun and a very wimpy jumping ability.

Running out of ammo is not a problem since almost everything you kill drops some bullets. example, almost every jump over a hole is met by a flying enemy who knocks you back into that hole. Getting to level three is an achievement! And don’t even think about password saves – they don’t exist. You’ve got to start from square one every time you start up the game. Sound is fairly good for the NES but the graphics are below standard. If you see this one at a flea market for $0.50, laugh in the vendors face. - Omni
