Refining
the randomly generated dungeons and city building of it's predecessor,
and adding some very nice cel-shaded graphics, Dark Cloud 2 provides a
very solid action role-playing experience. On top of this, players
are treated with a light-hearted story that is
fun to experience.
What is particularly nice about this game is that it can be played in
short spurts or over long hours, accommodated gamers who can only play
for short periods at a time, as well as those looking for a solid
all-night marathon of gaming.
For
many racing fans there's nothing more stimulating than flying around a
dirt track in a rally car. Rallisport Challenge 2 does this very
well, in a more arcade-styled manner (this is not a title for those more
interested in sim racers). With a small army of real life cars, and
an equally gigantic number of tracks, race fans will have a lot to sink
their teeth into. The game also features a strong online component
through Xbox Live that allows players to compete in online tournaments.
Looking
for a good FPS that takes place during WWII? Look no further than
Call of Duty. Providing a number of single player campaigns
complete with surprisingly skilled AI, as well as countless
opportunities for online play, Call of Duty is easily one of, if not
THE, best shooter to come out on the PC in recent years. It's very
easy to get into for a quick game, or an evening of serious blasting.
Combining
swordplay, fluid animation, and a very scalable level of difficulty that
both novices and aficionados can enjoy, Prince of Persia: The Sands of
time is a very worthwhile action title on the Xbox. When not being
a swashbuckling sultan, players can also enjoy some puzzle elements in
the game (a staple of the series). If you're looking for a fast,
exciting, easy to get into action title for your Xbox, this is a title
to consider.
