Nintendo's
DigiPen Professorship Program

Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 5, 2004--Nintendo and DigiPen Institute of
Technology are pleased to announce that Nintendo is sponsoring a
five-year professorship program at DigiPen.
The
Nintendo Professorship of Video Game Technology is the first
professorship of its kind offered by Nintendo in North America. Nintendo
is proud to be the industry leader in supporting the academic side of
the video game industry.

Nintendo
and DigiPen's relationship dates back to the formation of DigiPen
Applied Computer Graphics School in Vancouver, British Columbia, in
1993. In 1998, in cooperation with Nintendo of America, DigiPen opened
its Redmond, Wash., campus, making it the first school in the world to
offer bachelor degree programs for video game programming. DigiPen
Institute of Technology currently offers associate and bachelor of
science degrees in real-time interactive simulation, a master of science
degree in computer science, a bachelor of science degree in computer
engineering, an associate degree in 3-D computer animation and a
bachelor of fine arts degree in production animation. For more
