Capcom Announces Two New Viewtiful Joe Games

E3, LOS ANGELES May 18, 2005 - 'Awaken the hero-ness from within' as Capcom today announced that it's favourite 'Joe' will star in two brand new action-packed titles. Viewtiful JoeTM VFX Battle (working title) brings intense versus-style action to the series. Premiering on the Nintendo GameCubeTM and PSPTM handheld entertainment system, this game has Joe and his friends battling it out with their VFX powers to determine who will star in Captain Blue's latest production. In Viewtiful JoeTM DS (working title) a new mysterious syndicate invades the peaceful "Movie Studio" theme park and it's up to Joe to re-establish the tranquillity that once was. Available for the Nintendo DS, the game will make full use of the handheld's dual-screen and touch-sensitive panel. Both Viewtiful Joe VFX Battle and Viewtiful Joe DS are currently scheduled to be released throughout PAL territories in early 2006.
In Viewtiful JoeTM VFX Battle, production on the newest Captain Blue movie is just about to begin. Unfortunately he can't seem to decide on the lead character. Now it's up to gamers to be the star of the show and 'audition' to see who will take the leading role in this big action extravaganza.
