2,200 Nintendo Employees Paid Twice for September

Nintendo payroll in Kyoto appears to made a bit of a booboo in depositing some 2,200 of its employees salary for September in their bank accounts, accidentally paying these people twice for the month.
The error occurred this passed Tuesday when the company sent the relevant information for amounts to be paid to which employees at Kyoto Bank. Later in the day, the game publisher, |

as well as bank officials, noticed a number of mistakes in the numbers they had sent, and requested that these 2,200 employees had been paid twice.
Since that time, the overpayment has been returned to Nintendo, clocking in at 540 million yen (approximately $5,000,000US).
