Guild Wars to Charge for Alts

NCSoft and Arena.net have announced that starting this summer the players of Guild Wars will have to pay a fee for alt characters in the game. Bare in mind, this is for characters beyond the four that one gets from Guild Wars, and two additional slots from Factions. Those six slots are still free. It's only if players want more characters than that where they'll have to pay.
The fees will vary by region, clocking in at GBP 5.99, EUR 8.99, and $9.99US. |
