Deadly Rooms of Death Special Edition

(Press Release - PC)

Dec 5th, 2005 ( Washington , USA ) - Caravel Games (www.caravelgames.com) announce that a special edition of Deadly Rooms of Death, or "DROD" for short, is now available for download and purchase from their web site.  DROD: King Dugan’s Dungeon is a remastered version of the original freeware game that started it all.  With exciting new graphics, levels, and audio, the famed DROD series continues to get better!

The remade game comes with all the graphics and improvements that were seen in DROD:  Journey to Rooted Hold, as well as the top-notch audio dialogue that was so enjoyable.  Though similar in style to fantasy role-playing games, DROD is about solving difficult puzzles while exploring a vast dungeon.  DROD makes you think before you swing at every step!  Be sure to check out the optional online membership, which expands the game with internet high scores, extra levels, and game play movies, for the ultimate DROD experience.

Beethro, dungeon exterminator, has been hired by the questionably good and certainly stingy King Dugan to eliminate a roach problem.  As Beethro grinds his way through the roach infestation of King Dugan, mysteries will begin to unfold, and Beethro will inevitably make some unexpected enemies.  The curious things Beethro finds in Dugan’s Dungeon will eventually lead him to explore deeper and journey back to Rooted Hold in the sequel.

Thousands of rooms await your extermination sword, and a free demo is available from the Caravel Games web site!  Download the free demo of DROD: King Dugan’s Dungeon from www.caravelgames.com.  Good luck and happy exterminating!
