FRANCE (February 25, 2004) - Vivendi Universal Games announced today
that Counter-StrikeTM: Condition ZeroTM, the follow-up to the number-one
on-line action game in the world, Counter-Strike will hit the streets
worldwide March 26th, 2004.
Co-developed
by Valve and Turtle Rock Studios, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero
introduces a brand-new single-player experience to the Counter-Strike
series, along with special enhancements for on-line play.
Powered
by the Half-Life® engine, gamers will move through new and challenging
single-player scenarios ranging from harsh jungle environments, artic
terrains, deserts, and international city streets. In addition,
Counter-Strike: Condition Zero offers a brand-new Career Mode that will
take the player through progressively difficult matches alongside, and
against, the Official Counter-Strike Bot. In this mode, the player will
begin with limited access to A.I. teammates, items and weapons, but will
earn increasingly sophisticated resources as he progresses up the
ladder.
Counter-Strike:
Condition Zero will be available March 26th, 2004 for the PC with a
suggested retail price of €34.99 and a PEGI "16+" rating.
