Stronghold Legends Announced

2K Games Announced today that they are currently working on a new game in their real-time strategy series, Stronghold. This new installment, going by the name Stronghold Legends, will incorporate a number of tales from European lore. Being developed by Firefly Studios, the game will have what is being called a "new strategic conquest style", as well as new multiplayer modes.

Over the course of the game, gamers will be able to play through 24 missions as they follow the adventures of King Arthur, Siegfried, or Count Vlad Dracul, among others.
"The Stronghold franchise has been very well received, with more than two million units sold worldwide," said Christoph Hartmann, Managing Director, 2K Games. "Stronghold Legends will build on the popular Stronghold franchise and offer an exciting new twist on the classic gameplay."
