Supreme Ruler 2010 Update Available

(Press Release - PC)

Ancaster, Canada. June 6, 2005. BattleGoat Studios is pleased to announce a new update to their recently released strategy game, Supreme Ruler 1010This free update incorporates feedback and suggestions from players, and also adds new content.

"We've been overwhelmed with the positive response from people playing Supreme Ruler 2010 in its first weeks of release - the ideas and suggestions led us to incorporate improvements in the Diplomacy with AI regions, as well as additions to the user interface and new units in the equipment list" stated BattleGoat's Lead Programmer George Geczy.  "And in keeping with our commitment to continue expanding and improving SR2010, we've also released a new mission called 'White Sands Project' as part of the update."

In an unusual move BattleGoat has decided to make the new content available in the demo version as well as the full retail product.  "The Strategy genre gets a tough reception from storefront resellers, and we understand that Supreme Ruler 2010 is not yet widely available on store shelves" remarked Lead Designer David Thompson.  "As a thank-you for those players waiting patiently for the game to arrive at their local store, we've added some

bonus content to the demo version - hopefully that will tide people over while the stores realize that there is a strong demand for this type of game."  In it's first two weeks of release, Supreme Ruler 2010 regularly topped the 'Best Seller' charts at online reseller EBgames.com, beating out much more heavily-hyped recent releases.

The Version 4.00.12 Update is available to all Supreme Ruler 2010 players (demo and retail) through the use of the 'Check for Updates' auto-updating menu selection.  It is also available as a stand-alone download directly from Strategy First's website.
