PlayStation 3 Details Finalized

Now that the Sony pre-E3 Conference is over with, it's time to get down to the dirty details about the system. Here's the facts:
It's Going to Be Expensive and Have Two SKUs - Just like Kutaragi said last year, the PS3 will indeed cost a king's ransom, clocking in at $499US for a stripped down version (without HDMI, no wifi, and no memory card slots, and, it's not upgradeable), and a full, unrestricted version for $599US.

Controller is Motion Sensitive - Stealing a page straight out of Nintendo's playbook, Sony is copying the Wii's controller motion sensitivity, while keeping all the buttons, and overall shape of the classic dual shock.
Release Date - November 17, 2006. Just in time for Christmas. 2 million units. Worldwide. |
