PS3 Too Expensive in Japan Too

Ever since E3 this year, Japanese game magazine Famitsu has been doing a number of polls both online and through their web site to gauge Japanese gamers' thoughts on all of the new consoles. One of the most telling statistics to come of all this is that 88.4% of those polled think that the PlayStation 3 is too expensive, while only 10% believe the price is "about right" (0.7% of readers felt the console was cheap). Also of note, is another poll where 68.8% of readers said that the Nintendo Wii is their most anticipated console, while only 21% picked the PlayStation 3. |
