Things are slowly starting to come together
for Final Fantasy XII's Japan release. After being in development
for what seemed like an eternity to fans, Square-Enix has announced that
the latest in the role-playing series will hit stores in Japan on March
16, 2006. The game will be priced at a hefty 8,990 yen
(about $75US), which is about the
same as what Final Fantasy X and Dragon Quest VIII retailed for upon
release in Japan.
Also discussed was a novelty drink being
created by Suntory, which will come in a bottle meant to look like the
health potions commonly seen in the Final Fantasy games.\
