New Final Fantasy XII Release Details

Things are slowly starting to come together for Final Fantasy XII's Japan release. After being in development for what seemed like an eternity to fans, Square-Enix has announced that the latest in the role-playing series will hit stores in Japan on March 16, 2006. The game will be priced at a hefty 8,990 yen (about $75US), which is about the same as what Final Fantasy X and Dragon Quest VIII retailed for upon release in Japan.
Also discussed was a novelty drink being created by Suntory, which will come in a bottle meant to look like the health potions commonly seen in the Final Fantasy games.\
