GameDaily is
reporting on a new study to come out from the Consumer Electronics
Association, which states that more women over the age of 25 play
videogames than men. The survey that the CEA conducted looks at
men and women between the ages of 25 and
34, and determined
that about 65 percent of women in this age bracket play games, whereas
on 35 percent of women this age do.
The reason for
this is that the CEA believes that women are becoming increasingly
interested in various casual, online PC games (think Bejeweled), and not
traditional console and PC games, where men still play more of these
games.
