With Oblivion having launched, the game's publisher, 2K Games, is starting to toot its own horn a bit about how popular the game is.  Today, they sent out a quick press release stating that they have already shipped over one and a half million copies to retail (no word on the 

break down between PC and 360 versions of the game).

"We are very encouraged by the worldwide consumer demand for Oblivion," stated Paul
