Namco Museum 50th Anniversary Gone Gold

SANTA CLARA, Calif., (August 11, 2005) – Global video games publisher Namco Hometek Inc. announced today that their much-anticipated "Namco Museum(TM) 50th Anniversary" has entered duplication. The game is due to boogie onto store shelves this August, and will be available for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox(R) video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube(TM), Game Boy(R) Advance, and PC. The most comprehensive compilation of Namco’s classic arcade hits to date, the collection celebrates Namco’s 50th Anniversary and includes 14 of the company’s most beloved games.
“'Namco Museum 50th Anniversary' is more than a flashback to a great era of gaming,” said Jeff Lujan, business director, Namco Hometek Inc. “With 14 of the world’s most beloved arcade experiences including 'Pac-Man,' 'Galaga,' and 'Pole Position' and a classic soundtrack to match, the game is sure to be popular with classic gaming fans as well as the latest generation of gamers.”
In "Namco Museum 50th Anniversary," players explore a virtual arcade hall where each of the game’s classic titles stand in its original arcade form… no quarters required!
Developed by Digital Eclipse, the classic arcade game may be played by one or two alternating players, and is rated “E10+.”
