Once again, it looks like the Dreamcast just
isn't ready to die. Word is starting to get out that the folks
over at Mile Stone are porting one of their arcade shooters, Radigy, to
the Sega console.
Sporting a cel shaded visual style, players
will find themselves having to deal with screens full of bullets as they
make their way through each level. For a system that officially
bowed out of the console wars almost five years ago, it's hard not to
wonder how much longer indie projects like this will continue to pop up
on the Dreamcast. The game is currently set for a February 16,
2006 release.
The official
home page for Radigy can be found here.
