Usually a game
company will go and promote their big Christmas titles tooth and nail,
no matter how bug addled, or poorly designed the game may be.
Interestingly, though, Ubi Soft is actively telling people to stay well
away from the Xbox 360 version of their movie licensed action game, King
Kong.
In a report
from the BBC Ubi Soft head, Yves Guillemot said, "We have a problem
on the 360. The screen is dark on some TVs and it totally changes
the experience. When it's dark, you don't see where you have to
go." Going as far as to say that gamers would be better off
with the Xbox or PS2 versions of the game for the time being.
However, Guillemot went on to say that Ubi Soft is currently looking for
a software fix to get the 360 version up to par.
