Appoints New France Managing Director
GLEN
COVE, NY, February 23, 2004 - Acclaim Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ.SC:
AKLM), a global video entertainment software developer and publisher,
today announced the appointment of Dominique Cor as Managing Director of
the Company's Paris-based division. Reporting directly to Mike Sherlock,
the recently appointed President of Acclaim's International Publishing,
Cor will be responsible for overseeing the French region's operations.
Highly
esteemed within the interactive entertainment industry, Cor possesses
more than a decade's worth of senior executive experience. Cor joins the
Company from Vivendi Universal Publishing in Paris, where he served as
International Senior Vice President. During his tenure at Vivendi he was
responsible for all product development for Europe and Asia, as well as
the acquisition of Massive Entertainment AB. Prior to Vivendi, Cor was
Managing Director for Internet interactive gaming site Flipside, and he
also spent three years as the Managing Director of Sega France. During
his time at Sega, Cor increased the division's revenues from 2M€ to
80M€ and was responsible for overseeing the launch of Dreamcast in
France.
Cor
began his career in the interactive entertainment industry in 1990 at
Infogrames in London, where he was a PR and Marketing manager. In 1992,
he formed the Lyon-based distributor, Exasoft, which distributed all
Electronic Arts and Psygnosis products on an exclusive basis in France.
In 1993, Cor assisted with the sale of Exasoft to Electronic Arts and
was later appointed Marketing Director for the newly formed Electronic
Arts division in France. During his tenure with Electronic Arts, Cor
contributed extensively to the company's success in the territory,
including growing its revenues to 53M€ in 1999 and launching the EA
Sports brand.

Marketing.
