While everyone is clamoring about how a lot of publishers plan to raise the average price of their games next generation to around $60US, Electronic Arts is working on bring the price down on their current generation games to help bolster sales.

In January of this year, we saw the first example of this when the publisher brought the price of racing game Need for Speed Most Wanted down to $39.95US.  EA plans to continue this with upcoming titles such as Black, and The Godfather.
