Gameindustry.biz
is reporting
that Lionhead Studios, the developer behind games like Black and White,
and The Movies, may be in talks with Ubi Soft and Microsoft which would
allow one of these large publishers to acquire the studio.
Up
to this point, Lionhead has enjoyed both critical success, and brisk
sales in the game shops, which will certainly give the company quite a
bit of leverage should these rumors prove
to be true. Peter Molyneux,
founder and owner of Lionhead, |

sold his last development studio, Bullfrog, several years ago, so it wouldn’t come as a surprise it Lionhead Studios was indeed looking for a buyer. |
