Blizzard Looking into Handheld Gaming

Recently, Blizzard included a new survey in their latest newsletter that asked subscribers if they would be interested in a version of Diablo II for the Nintendo DS or PSP, complete with a wireless multiplayer mode. Later the survey also set out to gauge gamers' interest in a DS version of Starcraft (there was no mention of a PSP version of the game).

If response to portable versions of these games are favorable, and Blizzard decides to go through with making them, it will mark the first time that the company has been involved in the handheld market in quite some time. Years ago, they published a number of GBA titles by California-based studio, Mass Media including Rock n' Roll Racing, Blackthorne, and The Lost Vikings. |
