Viacom Not to Takeover EA
Sumner Redstone, Viacom Chairman and Chief Executive has confirmed to Reuters that the communications giant has no interest in taking over Electronic Arts. The key barrier to such an acquisition is the approximately $20 billion price tag for the game publisher. Viacom may very well have pursued a takeover had EA cost less.
