It's easy to see
that the industry is getting out of its summer time hibernation, and
preparing to release a glut of new games onto the market. That
being said, we have a trio of gone gold announcements today, with Black
and White II (PC), Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes (XB), as well as The
Suffering: Ties that Bind (PC, PS2, XB) having been completed.
Black and White
II is Lionhead Studio's sequel to their giant animal-oriented god game
where players tried to nurture their bestial avatar into a good,

Fire: Heroes continues the series' attempts at combining strategy with
action gaming on the Xbox, while this latest edition of The Suffering
continues to follow series protagonist, Torque, who has now gotten out
of prison, and discovers that the creepy demons he had to deal with in
prison are now roaming the streets of Baltimore.
On top of this
we also have a few ship dates that have been

confirmed with
Rag Doll Kung Fu being available for download via Steam in
mid-October. This game is a tongue in cheek martial arts game
paying homage to the cheesy kung fu films of times past, created by
Lionhead Studios Lead Artist, Mark Healy.
