Datel announced
today that they plan to release the XSATA for the Xbox 360 later this
year. The device will allow players to save space on their 360's
HDD by transferring files one doesn't intend to use over to their PC's
hard drive, and when the player decides thy need
those files
again, they can simply transfer them back.
Of course, this
has already raised concerns one some gamers that the device will open
the door to rampant cheating by some, as it is unclear whether this
ability to transfer data could allow for modified game saves and such
that gives gamers unfair advantages, especially when playing online.
