The cat's out of
the bag as far as pricing is concerned for the Xbox 360. When the
new console launches, consumers will have a choice between a $299US
unit, and a $399US unit. The cheaper of the two will be a stripped
down unit, with the hard drive absent, and coming with a wired
controller, as opposed to wireless. The more expensive of the two
systems will come fully loaded. Those that wish to get the $299 Xbox 360
can still upgrade it later through purchasing the components separately, and
installing them.
