Battlefield 2: Modern Combat Delayed

According to an update on Digital Illusions' website this morning, the Xbox 360 version of their popular game Battlefield 2: Modern Combat has been delayed. However, why the company is delaying the game is unknown.

Given the large number of high-profile games due out in the on the 360 in the next month, it wouldn't be surprising if the delay was strategic to prevent the game from being lost in the shuffle.
As of yet, Digital Illusions has not given a firm release date for Battlefield 2. |
