Super
cars aren’t the only attention-grabbing features in “PGR 3,” the
highly-anticipated third installment of the popular racing
franchise. Microsoft Game Studios and Bizarre Creations today announced that
the game will be fueled by music from top-selling artists such as The
Chemical Brothers and up-and-coming Indie Rock artists including Death
Cab for Cutie. Totalling nine genres in all, including hard rock,
alternative and indie hip hop among others, this eclectic mix of popular
music keeps the heart pumping on and off the track.
Featuring
more than 90 licensed tracks, this diverse roster of artists delivers a
non-stop blend of music as players swerve past landmarks in five of the
world’s most renowned cities, including
Tokyo
and
New York
. Through Xbox 360, players are in full control of the experience as
they decide what band they want playing and how loud they want the
music.
In
“PGR 3,” the next-generation follow-up to the award-winning and
best-selling “Project Gotham Racing” franchise for Xbox, players are
thrust into the cockpit of the world’s fastest vehicles from an
all-star line-up of manufacturers including Ferrari and Lamborghini. “PGR
3”
introduces
gamers to the high-definition era, and drops them into a completely new
gaming world, where style rules the road. Racers define and create
individually customized gameplay and can race each other — on or
offline.
